Julie Garner

Julie was born in Whiston and her family are from Liverpool but she has lived on the Wirral for most of her life.

She entered law as a mature student having previously worked in the NHS as a medical secretary and the head of an administration department.

She graduated from John Moores University with an LLB Hons and continued her professional training at Chester College of Law.

Previously Julie has been chair of Wirral Research Ethics Committee.

Throughout her career she has worked and supported people during traumatic times of their life. She feels it is important to retain contact with patients.

Julie enjoys travelling, gardening, reading and rummaging around second hand shops, looking for that all time ‘Flog It’ treasure. She is researching her family tree and in the remainder of her spare time she enjoys chess, scrabble, quizzes and Sudoku.
