As reported by BBC news, University Hospital Coventry have been criticised following the death of an elderly gentleman who sadly passed away in a hospital corridor after spending six hours on a trolley waiting to be seen by a doctor.

Mr Donald Driver, who was 84-years old, was admitted to hospital by paramedics at 6pm. He had been suffering with stomach pains and other symptoms reminiscent of the stomach ulcer he had previously had.

Despite his daughter repeatedly asking for someone to come and help her father, by midnight he had still not been seen by a doctor. He became increasingly unwell and passed away at approximately 1am.
